Braised pork belly is a dish with a long and rich history that spans different cultures and culinary traditions.

The origins of Braised Pork Belly can be traced back to China, where it was originally known as "红烧肉" (hóng shāo ròu), which translates to "red-cooked pork." The traditional Chinese cooking method involved slowly simmering pork belly in a flavourful sauce made from soy sauce, sugar, spices, and other aromatics. The dish that resulted was tender, succulent, and bursting with flavour.

Today, Braised Pork Belly is a beloved comfort dish for many and continues to be passed down from generation to generation. Whether this dish is something that holds dear memories to you or is a dish you want to create new memories with, Song Fa makes it easy to recreate at home with our Braised Spice Pack.
